About the install warning

Claude Desktop shows a standard warning that extensions may access your computer's data. This is a general message displayed for every third-party extension — not specific to TABLEALL.

The TABLEALL extension does not read, write, or access any files on your computer. It only forwards your requests to mcp.tableall.com over HTTPS and returns restaurant data from our servers. No local files, contacts, or system information are accessed.

Requires a recent version of Claude Desktop with Desktop Extensions (MCPB) support. If the installer doesn't open, update Claude Desktop to the latest version.

Or configure manually
  1. Open your Claude Desktop config file:
    macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
    Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json
  2. Add the TABLEALL server configuration
  3. Restart Claude Desktop
{ "mcpServers": { "tableall": { "url": "https://mcp.tableall.com/mcp/stream" } } }
  1. Run the following command in your terminal
  2. The TABLEALL MCP server will be available in your Claude Code sessions

FAQ

Do I need an account or API key?

No. The server is publicly accessible with no authentication needed for browsing and searching. To make a reservation, you'll be asked to provide your email during the booking flow.

Which regions are available?

Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Sapporo, Kanazawa, Komatsu, Toyama, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Ise Shima, Kobe, Niseko, Shizuoka, Nagano, Hiroshima, Shikoku, and Niigata.

What cuisine types can I search?

Sushi, Kaiseki, Tempura, Wagyu, Italian, French, Chinese, Innovative, Spanish, Yakiniku, Yakitori, Teppanyaki, Unagi, Dessert Dining, Kushiage, Shabushabu Sukiyaki, Izakaya, Ramen, Thai, Soba, and Tonkatsu.

What if a restaurant is fully booked?

Use "Submit a reservation request" — TABLEALL will contact the restaurant and try to secure a table for you. You'll be notified of the result.

Is my data secure?

All communication uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. We only access data you explicitly request and store no data beyond what's needed for your reservation.

What is the .mcpb file?

MCPB (MCP Bundle) is Claude Desktop's one-click install format for MCP extensions. Download tableall-mcp.mcpb and double-click to install — no JSON editing required. If the installer doesn't open, update Claude Desktop to the latest version.

Why does Claude Desktop warn that the extension can access my computer's data?

That warning is shown by Claude Desktop for every third-party extension as a general precaution — it is not specific to TABLEALL.

In practice, the TABLEALL extension does not read, write, or access any files on your computer. It only forwards your restaurant search or reservation requests to mcp.tableall.com over HTTPS. No local files, contacts, browser data, or other system information are touched.
